On October 4, 2016, Fairleigh Dickinson University played host to an event includng a collection of artists whose work was featured in Esopus 23. The afternoon was organized by George Cochrane, the author and artist of “Lost in Music,” a graphic novel he created for the issue; as well as writer, musician, playwright and author William Sutton; sculptor Richard Nonas (both of whom contributed to the project); and Esopus editor Tod Lippy. The packed event included presentations by Cochrane and Lippy and culiminated in a fascinating discussion about creative collaboration.
