In this second of two Tuesday Book Arts events at the Green Block + Studios space in Waterville, Maine, Tod Lippy gave a talk and shared archival materials related to his work as editor of Esopus and executive director of The Esopus Foundation Ltd.
In the fall of 2019, Colby purchased the entire Esopus archive, including two copies of each issue, production materials, artist's editions, original artwork, and correspondence. This event, sponsored by Colby, the Colby Museum of Art, and the Lunder Institute of American Art, allowed the Colby and Waterville communities to learn about Esopus and its archive, which is now available to the college’s students and faculty for research.
