Shanan Kurtz received her M.F.A. in Sculpture from the Parsons School of Design. Originally from Toronto, Ontario, Kurtz has participated in group shows in the United States, Canada, and France. Her exhibitions include Vertigo, Photo San Francisco (2006); Under Time of Lampshades, Transmitter Gallery, Brooklyn, NY (2019); Fortune Teller, Espresso Post, Collingwood, Ontario (2020); More Than This, Press Gallery, Collingwood, Ontario (2021); I Am Here: Home Movies and Everyday Masterpieces, Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto (2022). She is a founding member of the 640 480 video collective.
