“Pioneer Works emphasizes providing time and space for musicians to operate outside the constraints of monetary exchange. No rentals are allowed, and use of the studio is awarded gratis to artists on a project-by-project basis. For us, it is a beacon that permits us to bring our performance program and community of musicians together under one roof to enable them to collaborate and create in ways that few studios allow.”—Gabe Florenz, Founding Director, Pioneer Works
