We are excited to announce that the iconic West Village newsstand Casa Magazines is displaying all 25 issues of Esopus in its 12th Street window this week to celebrate this milestone moment for the publication. The store will also have available for sale a limited supply of advance copies of Esopus 25—which will hit bookstores and newsstands on May 5th. Esopus editor Tod Lippy will be in the store from 5 to 6pm on Wednesday, May 2nd (82 Eighth Ave, NYC), anyone who spends $40 or more on magazines (for ESOPUS or anything else at Casa) in that hour will be entered into a drawing to win a pristine archive copy of our very hard-to-find first issue (which has sold for up to $500). It will be handed to the winner at 6pm! Regardless, we look forward to seeing readers, contributors, colleagues, and friends at the official launch of Esopus 25 at our Esopus Space Pop-up on Wednesday, May 9th.
